The original Browns and well worth a visit even if you have been to all the other 10 in the chain! Situated in Duke Street, adjacent to the famous Lanes the first Browns was developed from premises that had been the Halifax Building Society. The restaurant opened in 1973 and has carried our name ever since.

Visit the restaurant with its 110 seats, with windows opening onto the street and soak up the unique Brighton atmosphere.

Two doors down, don't miss the separate Browns Bar, with its full range of drinks, alcoholic and soft- including our full extensive cocktail and Vodka list. The Bar opens for Breakfast each morning and serves a menu of light snacks, delicious baguettes, coffees and teas throughout the day.

Everyone who visits Browns notices the bustling, relaxed and friendly atmosphere which makes each visit so enjoyable. The unpretentious brasserie atmosphere is somewhere you can take time out to sit, chat, eat and drink, or just watch the world go by.

A classic, freshly prepared menu, unique wine list and exciting selection of cocktails continue to be trademarks of Brown's excellence.
