The Brickwall Hotel stands overlooking the village green in the pretty East Sussex village of Sedlescombe. Originally built in 1597 for the local ironmaster, the hotel combines the original charm of Tudor times whilst catering for the modern traveller and his or her needs. The hotel is privately owned and run by a professional team of staff.
The Hotel has 25 comfortable bedrooms, all with private facilities. Each room is equipped with satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer and direct dial telephone. Easy accessible ground floor rooms are available, plus 2 Olde Worlde beamed four poster rooms and 2 junior suites.
The hotel has a spacious residents lounge with french windows opening onto the garden. There is an attractive lounge bar and a beautifully beamed dining room. A feature of this area is a roaring log fire. Particular attention is paid to the quality and variety of food served in the dining room, with local produce used whenever possible. Complementing the cuisine is a well stocked wine cellar with wines from around the world.
The restaurant is fully equipped with facilities for private parties.
